My aim is to give you the support that you and your family need. The following packages give you some ideas of what I can offer, but anything can be arranged to suit your specific needs.

Possible packages are:

• LABOUR AND BIRTH PACKAGES

• 8 visits over pregnancy and postpartum, plus labour and birth
  
  
• support through pregnancy (approx. 3 or 4 visits, 1 1/2-2 hrs ea)
• basic childbirth education, covering topics based on your needs

• labour (from when you call me) and birth until about 3 hours after birth

• BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT
  • visits in your home, to help with your breastfeeding concerns. Call when you run into difficulties!
  • $25/hour, or a package of 5 hours for $100
    
    
• CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION CLASSES
  • I can come into your home for a private prenatal class (or you can get a group together; costs would be cheaper). We can cover whatever you specifically need, whether this is your first baby, or subsequent babies.
  • $25/hour (cheaper to sign up for more hours) OR
  • three hours for $65
  • three, 2 hour sessions for $130
    
    
• POSTPARTUM PACKAGES
  

• including emotional support, breastfeeding counselling, baby care, soothing and wearing, help with postpartum depression, help with high need babies, light housecleaning, light food preparation, sibling care while you attend to baby, knowledge of postpartum period, coping aids, etc...)

• Any amount of time during the postpartum period can be arranged, based on your needs.


• Longer visits: (~4-5 hours) can be arranged with or without a package




• THE IDEAL, "CHILDBEARING YEAR" PACKAGE
  
  
  • Pregnancy, Labour, Birth and Postpartum Support (the most support) = $1200
  • One year of support!
    
    
    • support from early in the pregnancy up to around 3 months postpartum
    • prenatal visits monthly or as needed (approx. 7 visits, 1 1/2-2 hours each)
    • basic childbirth education, covering topics based on your needs
    • preparation for postpartum, including networking and breastfeeding education
    • being present through labour and birth, from when you call me in early labour to when baby is a few hours old
    • the first three days postpartum (2-3 hours each day), then every second day up until two weeks (1 1/2-2 hours each day), and then twice/week for the next two weeks, then once/week for the next 4 weeks, then once every two weeks for the next 4 weeks (approx. 17 visits, 1 1/2-2 hours each after the first three)
